Thank you for visiting the Rainbow Garden club North Texas website, whether you are in Dallas, the surrounding area, or somewhere else on the planet we call home.   We hope you will send us an email so we’ll know you visited out site.

These are photos from three community projects that are club undertook during November 2021, the first was the North Oak Cliff Library project. The first four photos are the before photos of the parking lot flower beds. There is also an image of the iris in bloom in Feb. 2021 just before Winter Storm “Uri”. The balance of five photos are from the workday in November where volunteers thinned the iris and replanted them in all of the flower beds. The next group of photos is from the Hampton Illinois Library Courtyard Project and the third group is from the Rainbow Garden Club North Texas Garden at the Dallas Heritage Village Phase 1. We are accepting donations for Phase 2. See the link to the donation page at the bottom of this page.

These are images from Jay S’s garden from October 2021. If you follow the first link below, you can see a slide show of some of the diverse gardens that we have in North Texas. For static images, use the 2nd link below.

Also, we have a slideshow of some of our member gardens that include recent photos of their gardens:  https://rainbowgardenclubcom.wordpress.com/slide-show-of-member-gardens/

We also have photos (non slideshow) of many more of our Member gardens.  Here is a link to our member gardens page:  https://rainbowgardenclubcom.wordpress.com/member-gardens/

Our club has a diverse membership.   Our experience as gardeners range from novice to Master Gardeners. Most of whom, but not all, happen to be gay or lesbian.   Members come from all over the metroplex area, and everyone is welcome, whether you are a novice or a master gardener.  We normally meet on the 2nd weekend of the month and have a speaker on a garden topic.   Many of our members provide the program since they have become experts on one type of plant.  Here is a link to our club history:  https://rainbowgardenclubcom.wordpress.com/rainbow-garden-club-north-texas-history/

If you live in Dallas or the North Texas area, or expect to be traveling this way in the future, we would love to meet you in person or at one of our upcoming events.   Click on Upcoming Events for details on meetings or trips planned this year: https://rainbowgardenclubcom.wordpress.com/calendar-of-upcoming-events/

A unique feature of our website is a collection of links to public gardens around the globe.   The pages are organized by continent.   It is a handy tool when planning a day trip in North Texas https://rainbowgardenclubcom.wordpress.com/day-trips-to-public-gardens-to-tour-in-north-texas/ or a vacation in Switzerland https://rainbowgardenclubcom.wordpress.com/public-gardens-by-continent/

Each link takes you to a public garden’s website for information about visiting that garden.

We also have a page listing the gay and lesbian garden clubs that we are aware of around the globe:
