Welcome

2022 is our 30th anniversary as a club!

Who We Are

Rainbow Garden Club of North Texas (RGC) began in a chat room on AOL back in 1992 for a group of gardeners who were looking to form a club. Since that time, we have met on the 2nd weekend of the month for over 350 meetings. RGC has a diverse membership from all over the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Everyone is welcome. Our experience ranges from Novice to Master Gardeners, most of whom happen to be gay or lesbian.

What We Do

At monthly RGC meetings we usually have a speaker. Members often present the program since they are experts on various gardening topics.

Other RGC activities include:

  • Community Projects
  • Road trips to various Texas Gardens
  • Annual pool party
  • Annual Holiday party

We would love to meet you in person at one of our upcoming events. Since some events are held at private homes and address information is not posted on this website, we ask that you contact us first. Members receive a detailed Evite for each upcoming event so they can RSVP.
