Where to buy plants locally?
The Metroplex has a wide variety of local nurseries as well as big box stores. Here are a few nurseries that I have found to have unique plants or great selections of native plants.

Jacksons Home and Garden – plants, home furnishings, pots and outdoor grilling equipment to name a few of the items at this huge store near Love Field. 6960 Lemmon Road Dallas TX 75209.
Metro Maples – a local source for Japanese Maples located in Southwest Ft. Worth at 4890 Dick Price Road.
Nicholson-Hardie Nursery – they have 2 locations a Garden Center & a Nursery on Lovers Lane at 5060 W. Lovers Lane and 5725 W. Lovers Lane. They have a wide of plants and offer classes as well.

Stegal’s Nursery and Plant Farm – located in Southwest Ft. Worth. They grow many of their plants onsite. The address is 5652 Wilson Road Ft. Worth TX 76140.
