SF Conservatory of Flowers – Golden Gate Park

Here are a few images from the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park:
The building dates back to 1871.   The glass is painted over to keep the tropical plants from overheating from direct sunlight.  There were rooms for low land tropical plants and for tropical plants located in elevations over 3,000 feet high.
